      Let's start !

      Load capacity
      Information

      D8
In the context of this quality standard, a D8 electric chain hoist complies with the requirements stipulated in DIN EN 14492-2 and shall not be used for holding or moving loads above people without employing additional protective measures.

      D8+
In the context of this quality standard, a D8 PLUS electric chain hoist has been designed, dimensioned and equipped such that it can be used for holding loads above people.

      C1
In the context of this quality standard, a C1 electric chain hoist complies with the requirements stipulated in DIN 56950-1 and can in prin-ciple be used for holding or moving loads above people.

      Information

Electric chain hoists with stepless variable speed can be operated with a frequency converter which is integrated into the control system.
The control system must be provided by you.

      Information

      Direct control, DC
Hoists destined for direct control are equipped with a terminal board + PMS relay as a standard.
The current detection relay PMS serve for immediate switching of the DC brakes.
If this option is selected, no gear limit switch, brake and temperature monitoring, load and path measurement can be added.

      Low voltage control, LV
This is a contactor control including a transformer.
The control is available for different voltages: 42V (standard voltage), 24V and 110V.
The contactor control involves only the function of the up / down movement of the load hook. The evaluation device for any brake monitoring, load and path measurement can not be integrated and must be connected to your control system.

      Connection to external control system
In this execution no control and no transformer is installed because the electric chain hoist will be connected to an external control system, for example for a C1 application.

      Information

With the integrated geared limit switch the upper and lower end position of the load hook can be set easily and precisely.
To increase safety, two additional emergency stop contacts are available as an option (for example for a C1 application).

      Information

The electric chain hoist can be equipped with a load cell but the evaluation device must be provided by you.

      Information

As an additional safety feature, the brake monitoring indicates whether the brake is activated or not.

      Information

      Path measurement on chain wheel
The assembly takes place on the chain wheel (Image 1), so that the rotation of the sprocket can be detected.
An incremental encoder (Kübler 8.3700.5332.1000) is available for this execution. It is possible to use another encoder type (incremental or absolute) provided by you.
The evaluation device must be arranged by you.

      Path measurement on drive shaft
The encoder is placed on an extended shaft behind the brakes (Image 2) and detects the movements of the drive shaft.
We have no encoder in our product range for this execution, so that a suitable encoder with the right dimensions should be provided by you.
The evaluation device must be arranged by you.

      Information

There are 2 ways to protect the electric chain hoist from overheating when it is under heavy duty:

      PTC-resistor (without tripping device)
A temperature-dependent resistor fixed on the winding head of the stator interrupts the control voltage in case of overheating via a tripping unit, provided by you. This reliable temperature monitoring can be mounted in external control systems, for example for C1 applications.

      Klixon
A thermocouple with a temperature-sensitive N/C contact is fixed on the winding head of the stator. In case of overheating, the control current is interrupted and switches off the chain hoist voltage. After a longer cooling time, the chain hoist can be used again.
Important: This option can only be applied in combination with a contactor control (see next questions).

      Information

The electric chain hoist can be equipped with a chain bucket fitting for the destined lifting height (Image 4).
As an alternative it is possible to equip it only with a holder so that you can attach your own chain bag to the hoist.

The mechanical interlocking of the hook lug of the 360° rotatable and 180° swivelling safety load locking hook secures the transported goods. The load hook closes automatically under load and must be manually unlocked for opening.
